It does give you a broad index and relevant information in a handy and practical manner. Even with the internet resources of today it still provide an added value and relevant information.

The number of photos is unexcelled, the text at the beginning gives the beginner the knowledge and the glossary at the end a quick reference for terms. It is heavy on pockets but, also chock full of pictures on wristwatches and their prices, the industry almost standard (the market rules).  A hard book to beat if you buy more than one watch a year will save the buyer much more than the price of the book many times over.
